UpTake.com is a travel search and discovery site – the first step for travelers to decide where to go, where to stay or what to do.
“We help users make informed decisions about what best fits their travel preferences,” says the copy on their site. “We scoured more than 5,000 sites to collect 775,000 places to go, things to do and places to stay in the U.S. Then we analyzed and organized over 20 million U.S. travelers’ opinions to enable search based on exact travel requirements and preferences!”
They also have a team of select travel bloggers dedicated to specific areas of typical traveler information – lodging, dining, attractions. One of their team, Rosalind Cummings-Yeates recently discovered Greens N Grains.
Her UpTake review, A Vegan Paradise at Door County’s Greens N’ Grains provides some useful GNG Deli instructions, “Start with a freshly-pressed fruit juice or smoothie. I tried a refreshing concoction called Sunrise that featured orange, coconut and pineapple juices.” She adds, “The pumpkin and sweet potato soup was rich and lightly flavored with cinnamon and the cucumber, bean sprouts and tomato panini packed just the right amount of zest. I couldn’t resist trying the just baked vegan oatmeal cookies for dessert, they were chewy and surprisingly sweet.”
